Hi there, I'm Rholene, a silversmith from South Africa now living in New Zealand.  I have a small one-man-band homebased studio situated in the beautiful Palmerston North, where I use old school traditional silversmith tools and techniques to create naturalistic jewellery pieces inspired by New Zealand native fauna and flora species.  I deeply value the impact my small business has on the environment, and I try very hard to run a sustainable studio environment using less chemicals and switching over to environment friendly products, packaging and tools.

In 2014 I turned my weekend hobby into my full time job making and selling one of a kind jewellery pieces on Etsy and Instagram.  Back then everyone tried to have a cool online shop name, but now feel confident and proud to trade under my own name and look forward to this new chapter in my career.

Thank you for being here, and please get in touch if you have any questions or requests.

Love, Rholene X
